“But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.” – 1 John 2:5-6

Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher and one of the central Enlightenment thinkers.  He was one of the most influential and controversial figures in modern Western philosophy. One day, he took a long summer walk as he often did. Immanuel was walking in his neighborhood, stopped in a park, sat down on a bench for several hours, and just sat there. A policeman saw Immanuel and walked over to him. He wanted to know what Immanuel was up to. He asked, “What are you doing?”

Kant replied, “I’m thinking.” The policeman inquired further and said, “Who are you?” Then the great philosopher turned to the police officer and said, “That’s precisely the problem that I’ve been thinking about. Who am I?”

When we accept Christ as our Savior, we are a child of God, and we should walk with Jesus. Today, in prayer, praise the Lord for new life in Him and seek to walk continually with the Lord.

God’s Word: “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” – John 13:15
