In 2021, the Christian family group CAIN was on its first-ever tour. While on the tour bus, the realization of their dreams hit them, and they looked at each other and kept saying: “I’m so blessed!”
Then, they had some 80 shows canceled for various reasons. Then they would look at each other and say: “I’m so blessed.” But then realized they needed to make an attitude adjustment and to praise Jesus no matter what the situation was. They made a rough song demo and took it to their studio.
The studio saw the promise of the song, and they were able to write it soon afterward.
Taylor Cain Matz of CAIN wrote: “Take your focus and bring it out. Don’t worry about the circumstances; think about the fact that my heart is beating, I’m alive, I’m healthy, I have friends and family, and I have Jesus in my heart. That’s what it’s all about. I’m so blessed.”
