We thank God for the baptisms we’ve been able to have even during the pandemic. Our original plan was to have 8 baptisms on Thanksgiving Sunday; unfortunately 2 of the 8 baptisms were postponed.
One was a Covid case and the other was a teenager whose Catholic mom is currently opposed to him making this commitment to a non-Catholic church. He will be baptized as soon as he turns 18. He is committed to follow Christ and growing in the faith.
Having the baptisms was a feat! We held individual baptismal orientation sessions even in parking lots to be as safe as possible.
We did have the opportunity to transmit the baptisms during our Sunday LIVE transmissions which sparked some interest in our viewers to be baptized.
