On Sunday, April 28th Parkside Church used the San Diego Southern Baptist Association's (SBSBA) Party Trailer at our baptism celebration. We held 2 regular services, at 9:15 and then 11am and right after we had baptisms and a potluck. We had 268 people attending Parkside Church on that Sunday. 4 people received Christ, 16 people got baptized and inspired 6 others to get baptized the following Sunday. About 25 guests that came to see their family or friends get baptized have come back to Parkside on following Sundays.
The trailer added to the fun of the event and kids had a blast with all the deserts and fun. The fact that it was cost free to our church was a huge blessing. Our potluck was a huge celebration of what God is doing in our congregation.
On Sunday evening the trailer was also used for a block party and 10 unchurched families came out and connected to members of Parkside.
