Outreach Event at Civita Park

Posted

"Hey, do I look like I work at McDonald's?", Gracie jokingly asked the kid as she was scooping him up a float after he'd just finished one of her fruity pebbles-topped sundaes. "This is like the pre-show.", said Jeremy of Mission Village Church, this being the first of 2 hosted outreach events at civita park over the July 13th summer weekend.  This night was for the "Movie in the Dark" feature on the green (Disney's "Moana").

I'm just here to make sure no one gets hurt or killed, ha, ha!", joked Tim, who supervised the long line outside the popular house jumper.  Gracie tried to juggle the equally popular ice cream table, exhausted, but thankfully got a bit of help from Jeremy's wife Natalia near the end.
"Whew, that was VERY high-paced", she said. "But we have to be done by 8pm, before the movie starts."

The connections with people in the park to let them know about the church made ALL efforts worthwhile.
"We do these outreach events so people can ask questions and be informed."
Said Brandon.
