Kids Week of Prayer resources available now

This year’s Week of Prayer for International Missions resources include kids activity pages and accompanying videos. They can be found here.

Designed for Sunday school, Wednesday night programs or for kids at home, the activity pages include shortened versions of the corresponding Week of Prayer articles. The videos introduce the kids to the featured missionaries and how they serve.

Material highlights missionaries like Skip and Kim Meyer*, who have spent their lives on two very different mission fields but with the same purpose: giving hope to people who need it and helping others to do the same.

These kids resources correspond to the other Week of Prayer resources that include articles, photos, and more videos. Other Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® resources include articles, social media graphics, promotional materials, presentation graphics, a poster, a display banner and a bulletin insert.

Resources are designed to unite individuals and churches in prayer and in meeting this year’s $185 million LMCO goal. The goal is an increase from the 2020 goal and is in keeping with one of IMB’s 2025 Targets to increase giving to the IMB by 6% annually.

“Sending more missionaries and reaching more people and places requires sacrificial giving,” said IMB President Paul Chitwood.

Chitwood said in recent years that about half of Southern Baptist churches gave to missions through the Lottie Moon offering. He hopes to see that number increase as more churches feel connected to missionaries and understand the urgent need to reach the nations with the gospel.

“We want to see every missionary connecting, every church participating, and all of us stewarding well the Revelation 7:9 vision,” Chitwood said.

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is a registered trademark of Woman’s Missionary Union.
