Iglesia Nueva Cancion had a community outreach in Paradise Hills on Saturday, March 25, 2023. We provided games for the family, food, live music, and a booth where we could pray for visitors. In addition, this event was a pre-launch event for our first service that happened the day after this event on March 26, 2023.
There were 250-265 people from the community that attended our event. In addition, three other churches helped us serve the community. We also had 35-40 volunteers.
As of now, there were no confessions of faith in Christ. But, the gospel was shared with multiple visitors from the community. As a result of this event, two people came to the opening launch of our church the day after our event.
Many volunteers and servants who came to help shared that they were blessed to help a sister church. For some Iglesia Nueva Cancion leadership, it was their first event serving of this magnitude, and they were blessed by the community's response to the gospel.
We were blessed to have access to the SDSBA party trailer for our outreach. And the blessing was it was at no cost, as our funding request for being a church plant was granted.
The community overall had positive comments about the event. They shared that they would love to see more events like this one. It was an opportunity for families in the community of Paradise Hills to know who we were as a church. Our partner church, Bright Hope Community Church, shared that they were blessed to serve with us as one church but in many languages.
In addition, Iglesia Nueva Cancion would like to thank the sponsorship of Send Network for this event. Through the collaboration of different Send Network churches, this event successfully supported a NAMB Send Church plant. A special thanks to Iglesia Kaleo Comunidad Cristiana, Iglesia Puente de Vida, Iglesia Nueva Vision, and Bright Hope Community Church for their service to this event and Send Church Plant.
