Harvest Hoedown

The Shelter Church

The Shelter Church had their 2nd annual "Harvest Hoedown", a community Gospel outreach event on Halloween night. They had food, drinks, lots of games, live Gospel and bluegrass music from the Cowles Mountain Rangers, testimony, a Gospel message and MORE!

Over 100 people attended and got to hear the wonderful news about Jesus the King. The Body of Christ came together in a big way to serve in order to pull off this event.

It was so very beautiful seeing the entire church come out and serve the community.  From stage and prop setup, to the organization of all the creative and fun games, to the live music and the amazing organizers Bri and Sonya, to the testimony from Rebekah - all was a major success in that EVERYONE came out to serve hard and love our neighbors for Jesus.  I was so encouraged by seeing how many of our neighbors were positively impacted by this effort and expression of His great love for them.

Mark, a neighbor to where our church is located, told me how grateful he was to have a safe place to bring his kids on Halloween night.  He particularly enjoyed that there was a bounce house and games for his kiddos.  He attended both this year and last, and we are hopeful that he may be attending church soon.

Thank you to everyone who came out to serve this year!
