The Great British Baking Show is a British television reality show that began in 2010. It pits baker against baker. According to an article in Insider about The Great British Baking Show, each oven is tested every day to ensure fairness for each contestant. To do this, Victoria sponges, a British type of cake, are baked every day, using every oven at the same time.
Although it would be nice if everyone’s life were as predictable as daily oven testing that ensures complete fairness for every participant, it doesn’t always work that way. Some of us will go through life at higher acceleration rates, while others might feel left in their dust. God’s plan for your life is in the right order, and not based on the standard for everyone else.
The Lord’s plans for us are much greater than our own. Today in prayer, praise the Lord that God has a plan for your life and seek to do His will in all that you do.
