On Saturday April 16th, the day before Easter, The Hill Church in La Mesa, hosted a block party that included anything from photos and face painting booths to yummy treats like cotton candy and snow cones!
The Easter on the Hill event went wonderfully, we had a steady flow of neighbors visiting, playing, eating and participating in all of the fun activities offered throughout the day!
All the children in attendance had an easter egg hunt at the end of the event and so many stayed around playing and chatting with members afterwards. It's always a blessing to meet our neighbors and thankfully we're getting to a place following the 2020 culture to have events again. It was an absolute JOY!
Our desire was to serve our community with FREE FUN and an opportunity for them to be invited in person to our Easter service on Sunday. We were blessed to see many of our neighbors back the next day to celebrate Jesus' resurrection!
