Under the leadership of Bishop A.B. Vines, New Seasons Church is excited to report the kick-off of “Discipleship Groups (D-Groups)". New Seasons started D-Groups in January 2019, making a commitment to a three-year D-Group study of the Old and New Testaments. Launching D-Groups will galvanize New Seasons Church’s efforts for pursuing a richer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ while digging deeper into God’s amazing word concerning HIS Son (2 Peter 3:18) the Savior. Starting with an initial 136 participants, the excitement was the catalyst for twenty-one, 5-person groups being formed throughout three church locations: Spring Valley, El Cajon, and Paradise Valley.
The D-group sessions allow for the collective sharing and hearing of the wonders of God moving in each New Seasons disciple’s lives. Our members are loving the D-Groups.

To sustain the excitement, New Seasons also recently hosted a D-Group event called “March Madness” that consisted of a “Jeopardy” style biblical quiz competition. “It was a great success,” says Pastor, Dr. Gray of New Seasons Church, El Cajon. “It was so much fun to gather together as family and work together to answer questions from the Bible reading and scripture memorization that we have been doing in our D-Groups. What impressed me the most was how Seasonites had studied and were on top of their daily reading and memory verses.”
D- Groups at New Seasons church will be long lasting. It is God’s Word which will challenge and encourage our members to live out the Gospel.
