Last Saturday August 10, 2019, New Vision Church brought together the city of San Diego, San Diego Police Department, the schools, parks and recs, Urban Youth Collaborative (UYC) and other community groups to 'Love Our City'.
We did a beautification at Colina park, Hoover and Crawford high schools, Mann middle school, plus Ibarra and Fay elementary.
We had 203 volunteers. Together we were able to make a big impact on our city! The volunteers came out to Colina Park and did community beautifications from gardening, painting, wiping down gym equipment to picking up trash for Colina Park, Crawford and Hoover High School, Mann Middle, Ibarra and Fay Elementry.
UYC did sights all over San Diego county as well. It’s part of the outreach model that God put on my heart to reach the communities for Jesus.
